Direct selling.
What do you think about this ?
A person (salesman ) come to home to promote and sell his/her company products. This was what I thought.
This is the origin of direct selling.
Anyway, let us see the explanation of Direct Selling.
What is Direct selling?
This is a model of marketing which directly selling the product to customers away from a fixed retail location, from wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_selling.
Producer ---- sell---> consumer / Producer ----sell----> Direct seller---face to face sell---> consumer
kinda like this.
It`s normally person to person/ face 2 face. So as I said, A person (salesman ) come to home to promote and sell his/her company products.
In a direct selling company will has many direct sellers. These direct sellers are not employees of the company. Direct sellers as like distributor. Their function is helping the producer distribute and sell the products by Face to Face/ Person to Person.
In this model, consumers no need to go to market or somewhere to buy the product because the direct seller will come to house to sell it. It is a convenience for consumers, especially for the people who are lazy going out. For the producer/ direct selling company, they can save money in opening the shop or store and sell the product faster if have many direct seller. They just need to open one or two store in a area to sell the product to direct seller or consumers. Another kind of direct selling is open a own store and sell it directly to customer. No through any distributor. For example, DELL.
Actually, It is a good model for everyone.
But, Why people so hate it now ? ( In Malaysia )
One reason, direct sellers always ask/ persuade/ convince people to join the direct selling company to become direct sellers.
What the benefit the direct sellers get from convincing people to join it?
Commission. Yea. This the main reason.
Nowadays, almost every direct sellers like to convince people to join it. Their job from selling turn to convincing. This model already changed. They also sell the product, but this is not the main job for them. They always said how good the company is and promote some of those direct sellers who become millionaire. It`s far from the main purpose of direct selling. Those people no sell product, just convince people, how they get the profit? Commission. From earn the profit from product to earn the money from people commission. I was also asked to join direct company by my friend. Sure , my answer was No. Now, same answer.
Some companies more funny, my friends join it then convince and ask me to join it also. But, had they got the profit or not , I don`t know. I said NO to them.
How funny it is ?? let you know now.
This kind of model I think It`s called pyramid. I also forget already.
Ok ,The funny part.
This kind of direct sellers will not said this is not direct sell or what and they will said "you no need to sell something and join it , you will earn the money " WOW!!! How amazing!!! no need to sell then can earn money. And it is not a small amount. They said 4digits money I think. No need to sell product, how to get the money. One idea was in my dream, It cheat people. So why I don`t join it.
These people (direct sellers) mostly is students, people who have not job or very low educated(no any skill)people.
Students, They need the moneys for luxury life, study, shopping and etc. So, many direct company aim on them.
People who have not job, just for life.
Low educated(no any skill) people, because they haven`t any specific skill and they are hard to get a job.
No need to sell, then can get money. This is what they like.
Direct selling already changed. Change to low class, make people don`t believe, annoying.
Direct sellers should sell the products, not asking and convincing people to join.
For those Direct sellers who like to convince people to join the direct selling company in Malaysia, please clearly know who you are. Do what you suppose to do.
PLEASE DON`T MAKE PEOPLE HATE YOU AND
DON`T DESTROY THE ORIGINAL MODEL OF DIRECT SELLING!!!

The principle of Management, aka Management Principle (MP)
Principle of Management, aka Management Principle.
This is a common subject for every university business student in Malaysia.
Every business student has to take this subject in Bachelor`s Degree in Malaysia.
This is the basic.
Many Utarians hate this subject, so did I.
This subject is very bored because just theories.
Now I briefly introduce the content of MP.
The first topic, Manager and Management. It is briefly introducing the theory of management
The second topic is The Management Environment. It is talking about the economy, workplace, workforce, organization and etc.
The third topic is Decision Making. In this topic, you have to learn how to make a good decision and the decision which you make will have what kind of effect, if you are a manager. It is focusing on decision.
The forth topic, Planning. How to make a good plan is the job of Manager.
The fifth topic, Organizational structure and culture. This is talking about the development of an organization. How to design a organization. The six key element in organization design.
The sixth topic , managing Human Resources, aka HRM. In the topic, you will learn how to select a good employee, how to make the employee fully utilize. Human Resources is very important in this new world.
The seventh topic is Managing Change and Innovation. This is talking how to change and innovate.
The eighth topic is foundation of individual behaviour. This one is focusing on Organizational Behaviour (OB)
The ninth topic is Understanding groups and managing work teams. How to manage a team/ group , learn the group behaviour.
The tenth topic is motivating and rewarding the employees. Learn the method to motivate and reward the employees.
The eleventh topic is leadership and trust. How to be a good leader and make everyone trust you.
The twelfth topic is communication and interpersonal skills. Communication is very important in a organization. Good communication will make organization stable.
The last topic is Foundation of Control. Learn to control environment, the organization, issues. This topic will talk about the importance of control.
These are the content of MP. Some of these topic are also the subjects in the course structure. MP will teach you how to manage/ organize a group, know how the organization running. This is a important subject, especially for business administration student.
